Abstract

Type of brain injury and behavioral consistency influence jury decision-making. Crimes committed by the defendant with low behavioral consistency (LBC) before the organic TBI was morally justifiable than the defendant with LBC before the self-induced TBI. Misconceptions about brain injuries predict a guilty verdict.
