Perceptions of Automation and Refugees As Threats to Decent Work

Abstract
We examined whether automation and refugees as job threats induce reactance, and if perceived threat negatively influences work volition and career adaptability as part of the Psychology of Working Theory (PWT). Our job threats failure to induce reactance. However, we demonstrate new empirical support for PWT.
