Abstract

We conducted a meta-analysis of Study 3 from Giner-Sorolla and Chapman (2017) and two replications from our lab. Findings suggest that moral disgust is not limited to purity violations, but can also be elicited by bad moral character, and that reports of disgust are not semantic misidentifications of anger.
