Abstract

47,XXY is associated with increased incidences of ASD and autism spectrum traits (AST), but early hormonal therapy (EHT) has shown to diminish social-cognitive deficits. 74 boys were evaluated using various behavior scales. EHT-treated boys showed significant improvements in social interactions, social cognition, and reduced risk of AST.
