Timing and Positivity Effects: The Effects of Valence and Arousal across the Adult Lifespan in an Emotional Stroop Task

In the current study, we examined positivity effects across the adult lifespan by evaluating competing predictions of two theories: Socioemotional Selectivity Theory (SST) and Dynamic Integration Theory (DIT). Computer mouse tracking was used to examine positivity effects across levels of Valence and Arousal in an emotional Stroop task.
