Abstract

Mindfulness provides strategies for emotion regulation, mood, and eating behavior. Previous study of mindfulness-based eating interventions has yielded positive results for clinical samples. This study examines the effect of mindful eating on emotional eating and depressive symptoms among undergraduates in a six-week mindfulness intervention compared to a simple relaxation program.
