Abstract

Past research shows decision makers can be shifted from heuristic-based thinking to deliberative thinking when decision problems are presented in difficult-to-read (disfluent) font. This study replicates and extends previous work by examining the influence of a newly designed disfluent “memory-aid” font (Sans Forgetica) on decision making.
