Abstract

The current study examined whether the association between disengagement use and mental health is moderated by SES. Participants (n=343) were assessed during early adolescence, late adolescence, and adulthood. The adverse effects of disengagement use were amplified among those in lower SES, however, the moderation effect was not consistent across development.
