Abstract

An examination of differences in classroom management and cognitive stimulation rates by teachers’ ethnic/racial backgrounds and classroom SoC percentages was used to illuminate the role of race in student discipline and cognitive stimulation. This study found that in higher SoC classrooms, there were higher levels of classroom management.
