Objective Measurement of Individual-Level Communication Behaviors Underlying Interactions within Diverse Teams

While diversity within teams can increase the range of available ideas and perspectives, it can also hinder team processes. This study examines systematic differences in communication between Americans and non-Americans in multinational student teams. Results will support the development of interventions for promoting shared leadership within diverse teams.
