Abstract
An Artificial Language Learning experiment was conducted to explore the difference between responding to negated and affirmative contextual cues during semantic learning. After participants learned the pseudo-words in different contexts, eye-tracking was used to explore activation of the target word and its unrelated, paired associate during training.
