Abstract
In the Bayesian framework, statistical evidence is quantified using the Bayes factor. One popular guideline considers a Bayes factor above 10 to be `strong' evidence. We report exploratory research investigating how much evidence students and researchers demand in different contexts. Our findings suggest individuals vary considerably in their evidential intuitions.
