Abstract
The present research effort aimed to assess trends in cybersecurity research published in the HFES proceedings from 1980 to 2018. Analysis of trends in cybersecurity research yielded an exponential increase in published research over the past four decades. Crucial implications for cybersecurity in transportation and healthcare will be discussed.
