Abstract

Day-to-day changes in coparenting – how well caregivers work cooperatively in their parenting roles – may have important implications for family and individual well-being. Using daily data, we find that greater daily variation in coparenting variation is a risk factor for diminished parent well-being and parent-adolescent relations 12 months later.
