A Rigorous Evaluation Method for Web-Based Survey Pre-Testing

We developed an evaluation method for web-based survey usability, accessibility, look and feel, and flow. We apply these methods to sensitive policy issues and marginalized populations, and we find that rigorous design evaluation methods promote reliable and valid survey results, foster fairness, minimize response bias, and further reproducible research practices.
