Adolescent Help-Seeking Behaviors: The Benefit of Clinicians Unaffiliated with the School

A universal school-based depression and suicide education and screening program was administered to 7th grade students by clinicians unaffiliated with the school. Of the students who reported current suicidal thoughts but had not previously disclosed this information, almost half chose to seek help from a team clinician.
