Unidirectional and Bidirectional Intimate Partner Violence in Same-Sex Relationships

Male and female adults in same-sex relationships reporting bidirectional violence were higher in behavioral jealousy than those reporting no violence. They also experienced higher frequencies of minor physical assault perpetration and victimization and both minor and severe sexual coercion perpetration and victimization compared to those reporting unidirectional violence.
