Abstract

Chronic Pain Disorders may be associated with profound changes in self-identity and life narrative. A modified version of the Centrality of Event Scale (CES) was used to assess pain centrality in chronic pain and control participants. CES scores related to pain were significantly higher among the chronic pain condition.
