Abstract

This study examined the content, valence, and accuracy of the meta-stereotypes higher (Asian Americans) and lower status (Black Americans) ethnic minority groups hold in regard to each other. Black Americans felt they were viewed more negatively than they actually were, whereas Asian Americans showed no such bias.
