Abstract

Social cognition, as defined by scores on the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), is related to social behavior, as measured through the novel High-Risk Social Challenge (HiSoC) task. Higher scores on the IRI-Perspective Taking subscale are associated with higher overall scores on the HiSoC task for typically developing preadolescents.
