Factors affecting math anxiety among women in a behavioral science statistics course were evaluated. An intervention aimed at reducing stereotype threat did not significantly reduce math anxiety. Math self-efficacy was not predictive of anxiety, however, there was a significant correlation between anxiety and imposter syndrome scores.
