Abstract

We examined the relationship between romantic experiences and academic functioning among ethnic minority adolescents and the role of ethnicity as a moderator of this association. Dating experience was related to differential patterns of functioning for Vietnamese and Mexican-American adolescents. These findings suggest this association is more nuanced than previously considered.
