Abstract
Children’s response to psychotherapy may have collateral impacts on parents. In 59 parents, change in children’s symptom level assessed by the Youth Outcomes Questionnaire was related to changes in parent’s attitudes. Specifically, children improving in psychotherapy have parents who have increased sense of hope, parenting efficacy and family support.
