Abstract

This study examines the temporal dimension of affordance perception. Perceiving affordances is well-established, but the time necessary for affordance perception to occur is unknown. Length of exposure to visual scenes was manipulated to assess the impact on affordance perception in individuals, and found that affordance perception is robust.
