Abstract

We examined whether personality traits and cultural orientations predict perceptions towards selfie-commenting on social media. A total of 760 students were recruited from three regions (Northeast, N=293; Midwest US, N=198; Lebanon, N=269). Commenting on others’ selfies, particularly was predicted by cultural orientation. Differences across sites were reported.
