Abstract

Effects of message-framing and practitioner gender on opinions and intentions to vaccinate were examined in 268 participants.  For women, there was an interaction between frame and gender condition: a positively framed message given by a female practitioner lead to greatest beliefs of vaccine safety. No effects were found among men.
