Abstract
The purpose of this research is to qualitatively examine and contextualize the nature and relevance of African sibling relationships in emerging adulthood. Data collection and analysis has been done using focus groups to promote phenomenologically investigation the phenomena of interest. Results showed emergent themes of sibling influences and parental roles.
