Abstract

Parents with and without children with mental disorders use and prefer similar sources of parenting information. Traditional resources were most preferred, but technology-based resources were used widely. Larger portions of parents of children with mental disorders used medical and educational professionals, websites, and social media to access information on child-rearing.
