Abstract

Two online questionnaire studies showed that undergraduate students with Type D personality exhibited deficits on several social support measures. Furthermore, mediational analyses supported the idea that social support shortages partially explain the detrimental influence of the Type D personality on well-being (i.e., distress, negative affect, positive affect, life satisfaction, flourishing).
