Abstract

This research examines the sibling relationships of Chinese-American college students through analyzing the role of Chinese culture. This phenomenological inquiry analyzed focus group data using thematic analysis (Braun & Clark, 2006). Emergent themes depict the role of sibling responsibilities, maternal influence, and age difference in the sibling relationships of Chinese-Americans.
