Abstract
A neuropsychological assessment was used to examine the relationship between callous-unemotional traits and social cognition in a community sample of adolescents. Linear regression analyses revealed that parent-reported scores, but not self-reported scores, of adolescent callous-unemotional traits predicted enhanced recognition of angry and fearful facial expressions, which may facilitate antisocial behavior.
