Effects of Exposure to a Trauma-Related Account and PTSD Levels on Attention and Memory Bias

Abstract
This experiment examined the effects of PTSD levels and trauma induction on attention and memory biases. Results showed that participants with high PTSD levels in the trauma condition and participants with low PTSD levels in the control condition displayed attention biases toward threat-related and negative compared to neutral words.
