Abstract

The current study investigates the correspondence of individuals’ self-reported arousal and valence with their physiological response when exposed to videos of stuttered speech. Self-reports were collected with the Self-Assessment Manikin while physiological response was collected through facial electromyography and electrocardiogram. Participants were exposed to variations of speech type and gender.
