Avoidant Coping Strategies Mediate the Relationship between Coping Self-Efficacy and Grief: A Cross-Cultural Analysis

Abstract
We examined the relationship between coping self-efficacy and grief as mediated by avoidant coping, across type of loss and location. Our mediation model was supported in the US sample, and type of loss did not moderate the relationship. The mediation model was not significant in the Indian sample.
