Abstract

Displaced Arabic-speakers in Kurdish Iraq receiving treatment from community therapists completed measures of traumatic experiences and current stressors, and participated in a longitudinal study tracking changes in PTSD and depression symptoms. A repeated measures ANOVA revealed significant decreases in both PTSD and depression scores; current stressors did not moderate outcomes.
