Is It You or Your Environment? Relational and Personal Mobility’s Role in the Loneliness Experienced By Individuals with Disabilities

Individuals with disabilities are at higher risk of experiencing loneliness. This study examines whether the fluidity in the social environment influences the loneliness of individuals with disabilities. We surveyed over 5000 participants' perceptions of relational and personal mobility in the US and Japan and found differences between the two societies.
