Abstract

The present study seeks to explore the relationship between experiences with violent trauma, perceived parental efficacy, and one’s parenting desires. Quantitative survey results from a collegiate sample (N=253) revealed gender and trauma were significant predictors of desire to parent but were not significant in terms of predicting perceived parenting abilities.
