Abstract

Associations between mood symptoms and two measures of interpersonal emotion regulation (IER) are examined. Our findings suggest that facets of IER are separately predictive of symptoms. Reassurance seeking, a common IER strategy, and its role in IER processes is further tested. Clinical implications are discussed.
