Abstract

This study investigates the positive and negative parental perceptions of their interactions around mathematics and reading homework with their children. The results demonstrate a gender difference between parental attitudes, with mothers perceiving math homework-helping significantly more negatively and reading homework-helping significantly more positively than fathers.
