Abstract

Adolescents with mood disorders and self-harm showed a lack of coordination between frontolimbic connectivity and cortisol awakening response, while healthy controls showed coordination among stress systems with greater negative frontolimbic RSFC being associated with a more normative cortisol awakening response, showing a pattern consistent with marshalling resources for the day.
