Abstract

Irritability is prevalent in typically and atypically developing populations. We expect that while engaging in a task probing response inhibition, participants with irritability (versus non-irritable participants) will have differential activation in attention-related brain regions. Irritable adolescents exhibited greater activation in the precuneus and inferior parietal lobe compared to non-irritable adolescents.
