Parent-Led Forgiveness Programs May Improve Emotional Well-Being of Both Parents and Children: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract

The emotional outcomes of 15 parent-child dyads were compared after 14 weeks of using a Forgiveness Education program or a Forgiveness Discussion program. No significant differences were found between the groups; however, there was a significant overall effect of time with a large effect size on 6 of 11 variables.
