The Effect of Body Awareness on the Relationship between ECT and IPV

Abstract

Data were analyzed to examine the effect of body awareness of the relationship between early childhood trauma (ECT) and intimate partner violence (IPV). A surprising significant relationship was discovered: body awareness was found to moderate the relationship between ECT and IPV, such that more body awareness increased IPV.
