Abstract

Our research examined the relationship MMPI-2 and PAI scores and police officer misconduct. Previous research shows that both scales have significant predictive qualities (Weiss, Vivian, Weiss, Davis & Rostow, 2013; Workowski & Pallone, 1999). We found that ego strength and egocentricity significantly predict first-year officer suspensions and reprimands by superiors.
