Abstract

Those who have grapheme-color synesthesia “see” colors when they see letters or numbers printed in black. The correspondence between number and color differ by individual. We conducted an experiment using a magnitude comparison task, and found idiosyncratic correspondence between color and number in those who do not have synesthesia.
