Abstract

The present research examined associations of self-esteem with self-perceptions of attractiveness and motivation to be in a romantic relationship leading up to a speed-dating event. Results indicated that self-esteem positively correlates with self-perceptions of attractiveness and motivation to seek a romantic relationship.
