Abstract

104 girls at a single-sex academy in Puerto Rico completed surveys measuring stress/anxiety immediately following and two years after Hurricane Maria. Four common traumatic experiences predicted significantly elevated anxiety in 2017, and marginally higher anxiety as late as 2019.
