Abstract
Although research has identified different contextual factors that precipitate suicide attempts (SAs) among young adults, how these factors vary by race or ethnicity is unknown. We addressed this gap by identifying common SA precipitants in two samples of young adults who reported a lifetime SA history. Implications are discussed.
