Abstract

A peer-generated, online question bank was implemented into an upper-level psychology course to increase student engagement in retrieval practice. Unfortunately, students did not use the question bank. Follow-up studies found that learners believe teacher-generated questions will be higher quality and prefer to answer them when preparing for future tests.
