Abstract

The present study aimed to examine the effects of a novel associative conditioning paradigm, pairing non-preferred vegetables with a positive peer context (group games), on children’s vegetable preferences. Findings indicate that this type of associative conditioning may increase children’s vegetable preferences at a degree comparable to simple repeated exposure.
